ISA Provides Safety Assistance Exclusive to Members Through An Agreement With Safety Management Group
The following services are now provided: A. Safety Information Cost to Non-Members - $85.00
per hour SMG will also provide a monthly newsletter that will be available to the industry through this web site. SMG will also act as resource
for common safety questions for ISA members. During a phone conversation
SMG advisors will be
available to research and
provide safety
information. Written safety programs and policies and will be available to ISA members at reduced rates. These programs will contain policies needed to address safety exposures and administrative procedures for implementation of the program. Safety policies will also be available for members not needing a safety program but who want to add individual policies to their existing program. The programs will consist of basic core administrative elements and optional selective" components based on ISA member's scope of work. SMG will meet with a member to confirm needed optional components. SMG will then deliver a draft of the program for the member to review. Based on feedback from the member's review, SMG will deliver an electronic and hard-bound version of the final program. These cost for the written safety programs range from $1,800.00 to $4,000.00 with the lesser cost programs geared to meet basic needs and higher cost programs intended to distinguish contractors as the best of best in construction in the metro Indianapolis area. from established price SMG will provide openings to ISA members during all regular scheduled open registration OSHA 10 Hour classes (see SMG website for dates). All classes will be held at the SMG office located in Carmel, Indiana. Course topics include:
(1) Introduction to OSHA; (2) OSHA Inspections; (3) Electrical
Safety; (4) Stairways and Ladders; (5) Scaffolding;
(6) Fall Protection;
(7)
Fire Protection; (8) Excavation and Trenching; and more. Classes
